Purple Poison

Guest recipe concocted by: Katie Higgins-Beer

Ingredients:
1 part orange juice
1 part cranberry juice
1 part vanilla seltzer
1 part Tabasco tequila
frozen dark cherries

This intriguing potion captures the senses and leaves them deliriously bewildered.  It tastes kind of like a fizzy dreamsicle, but with a kick.  Mix this one up when you're feeling reminiscent about childhood.  The blend of orange, berry, and vanilla hearkens back to the melty popsicles of summers long ago, while the note of Tabasco adds another layer and updates the flavor for your matured palette.  Lastly, but most importantly, tequila recreates the excitement of the first few faint notes of that familiar song that meant only one thing: the neighborhood ice cream truck.
YY  Cheers!
